[EnergyPlus_Support] RE: solar raadiation
In the EP documentation (click "help") see the Input/Output reference.
Among the many possible variables, there are:
Site Diffuse Solar Radiation Rate per Area [W/m2]
Site Direct Solar Radiation Rate per Area [W/m2]
Surface Outside Face Incident Beam Solar Radiation Rate per Area [W/m2]
The solar beam radiation incident on the outside of an exterior surface, including the effects
of shadowing, if present. The beam here is that directly from the sun; it excludes beam
specularly reflected from obstructions.
Surface Outside Face Incident Sky Diffuse Solar Radiation Rate per Area [W/m2]
The solar diffuse radiation from the sky incident on the outside of an exterior surface,
including the effects of shadowing, if present.
To request a specific output you can use the "IDF-editor", you go to Output:varible and you add a new object.
