Hi all,
I am trying to model a baseline case for ASHRAE 90.1 with water cooled chiller. As ASHRAE requires each chiller to be modeled with a separate chilled water pump that is interlocked to the associated chiller operation, I placed the constant power pumps on each chiller branch and also added a bypass branch.
The problem is the pumps even the chillers are not operating and thus consuming a lot more energy than I expected. I have already set the pump operation into INTERMITTENT and change the chillers' unloading ratio to 0.
Is there anything I missed on input?
