[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Heating Coil and Cooling Coil are running simultaneously!?!?



Once expanded:

You have to use a "Cooling type Setpointmanager" with Min Temp=11 and Max Temp=99 (one of those: SetpointManager:SingleZone:Cooling, SetpointManager:MultiZone:Cooling:Average, SetpointManager:Warmest or SetpointManager:WarmestTemperatureFlow) in the "XXX_VAVSYS Supply Fan Outlet" node and a "Heating type Setpointmanager" with Min Temp=0 and MaxTemp=33 (SetpointManager:SingleZone:Heating, SetpointManager:MultiZone:Cooling:Heating) in the "XXX_VAVSYS Supply Path Inlet" node.

Then verify that you have two SetpointManager:MixedAir:

One for  the cooling water coil with:

Reference Setpoint Node Name: XXX_VAVSYS Supply Fan Outlet
Fan Inlet Node Name: XXX_VAVSYS Heating Coil Outlet
Faon Outlet Node Name: XXX_VAVSYS Supply Fan Outlet
Setpoint Node: XXX_VAVSYS Mixed Air Nodes

One for the heating water coil with:

Reference Setpoint Node Name: XXX_VAVSYS Supply Path Inlet
Fan Inlet Node Name: XXX_VAVSYS Heating Coil Outlet
Faon Outlet Node Name: XXX_VAVSYS Supply Fan Outlet
Setpoint Node: XXX_VAVSYS Heating Coil Outlet
