The way that output is calculated is not timestep. Therefore, when you try and read it on a timestep, there is nothing and it throws an error. That is why I did not use it. PS I've programmed an algorithm to open/close windows based on air stuffyness (CO2), and the average of Radiant and Air Temps (as approximation to operating temps), occupation and some other factors. I'm trying to get a methodology paper published on it, but with little luck so far. I've posted the EMS code here on the forum a couple of months ago. So I've probably jumped through some of the hoops on this one. Drop me an email if you need more help.

Dear Forum,

I don't know why, but I can't find the solution of the problem in this .idf. I'using a sensor in EMS which reads the "ZONE THERMAL COMFORT CEN 15251 ADAPTIVE MODEL RUNNING AVERAGE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE" and uses it in a windows control program.

I have this error:
** Severe  ** Invalid Output:Variable or Output:Meter Index Key Name =
   **   ~~~   ** For Output:Variable or Output:Meter = ZONE THERMAL COMFORT CEN 15251 ADAPTIVE MODEL RUNNING AVERAGE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE
   **   ~~~   ** Entered in EnergyManagementSystem:Sensor=TEMPMEDMOB
   **   ~~~   ** Unique Key Name not found.
   **  Fatal  ** Errors found in processing Energy Management System input. Preceding condition causes termination.

But I can't understand how to fix it..., the error seems to be in the sensor but I don't understand exactly what's wrong.
