Not sure there is a GUI for that, however you could use zone multipliers, and some of the reference buildings already use them--

I am using the DoE reference buildings idf files available at the EnergyPlus website. I want to change the area for these buildings. Is there any way these files can be uploaded to some tool with GUI and the area be changed without manually changing the available idf files.
