Hi everybody,
I’m pretty new in EnergyPlus and I have to model a small dwelling house located in Canada to analyze the solar passive efficiency by testing some shell’s materials.
In this study specifically part, I’m testing a phase change material influence. The goals is verify the number of hours below 4°C, without a HVAC system. So, my output values for the analyses is the Zone Air Mean Temperature. However, I know that EnergyPlus do simultaneous simulations of loads, systems and plants.
I don’t have a system neither a plant, so I’m little doubtful about my results. Is my method correct?
