Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Pump: Variable Speed - Rated pump head

So, when we speak about a fan:constantvolume pressure rise, it has the same teorical meaning I guess.

So it seems to be the the head loss along the circuit, right?

For a pump system that has already been designed, the rated pump head is the pressure against which the pump must work at full flow

You need to know the hydronic pressure that you need to overcome. With a bit of study, you could do a rough spreadsheet calculation and put a safety factor on it. Or use industry standards (see ASHRAE 90.1 App. g) for estimating.

Maybe it's a banal question but, what does E+ mean with the  "Rated pump head"?

The heating system is a radiant floor heating, how should I choose a pump? I don't know the losses of hydraulic load and so the needed head.
