[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Do Shading Devices have Heat Capacity, if not Why?
How much thermal mass is needed in the slats to impact loads? You could compare the heat capacities of common materials and then see how much mass is required in slats to have an impact in EnergyPlus.
A balcony floor is a better example of where thermal mass in the floor may need to be modeled.
