If you don't like to mess around with
the E+ runtime programming language (EMS objects), you can also try your
own routines coupling your E+ model with other programmes using the
BCVTB. For instance if you are familiar with Matlab or Python you may
write a script with your conditional operation strategy in Matlab and
then use BCVTB to write values to Schedule or Actuators (read carefully
the manuals). You can use values generated by E+ (Zone temperature,
Outside Air temperature etc) to by exchanged by your Matlab routine (for
instance) and use it to override existing Variables, Schedules or
Actuators in E+.
