Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Single zone with multiple AHUs [1 Attachment]

Many thanks Jean for the explanation. However, I'm still trying to understand AirLoops. Attached is very simple example with one zone and one airloop.
For testing purpose, I have both splitter and mixer on the return path. Logical it should work. Also the energyplus runs without any errors. But output doesn't make sense. Its performing more like an uncontrolled zone. I would really appreciate if you can find time to look into it. Comments awaited.

Thanks.

Only one central AHU (Airloop) is allowed per zone, so you have to split your zone.

Only one splitter and one mixer is allowed on the supply side of the Airloop and only one splitter and one mixer is allowed on the demand side of the Airloop

Divide the space into one zone per central air supply unit. Then mix the air between the zones with zonemixing objects.

Hi,

I'm trying to simulate a single floor (zone) building served by multiple AHUs (cooling coils and supply fans).
How can I do this in energyplus?

Thanks.
