Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Confusion in the PEOPLE object?

Sounds like a parsing problem. Check for too long variable names, commas, semicolons and number of fields and blank fields.

Hello,

I'm getting severe errors from internal gains calculations, the PEOPLE object, and it appears to be that the e+ engine is confused about which field is which:

The .err file is telling me that I should be using values of model types (i.e., "Fanger," "Pierce," etc) for my clothing insulation schedule name and air velocity schedule name. These are warnings, but the engine breaks down at a severe error where "CLOTHINGINSULATIONSCHEDULE" isn't recognized as a clothing insulation calculation method. I've tried the different configurations from the inputOutputReference with no success. Has anyone run into these issues?

Here's my people object:

People,

    CORE-PEOPLE,             !- Name

    AllCoreZones,            !- Zone or ZoneList Name

    BLDG_OCC_SCH,            !- Number of People Schedule Name

    Area/Person,             !- Number of People Calculation Method

    ,                        !- Number of People

    ,                        !- People per Zone Floor Area {person/m2}

    OccDensity[],            !- Zone Floor Area per Person {m2/person}

    ACTIVITY_SCH,            !- Activity Level Schedule Name

    3.82E-8,                 !- Carbon Dioxide Generation Rate {m3/s-W}

    No,                      !- Enable ASHRAE 55 Comfort Warnings

    ZoneAveraged,            !- Mean Radiant Temperature Calculation Type

Thanks for the thoughts!
