Optimized shutdown...perhaps by slowly changing your setpoints? 

Generally equipment in e+ is either on or off, e.g. Pumps don't ramp down whilst shutting off and there is no electrical spike when they start up. Cycling inefficiencies are usually built into efficiency curves or the models in some other way.
