Hi guys, re: nightcycle... e+ code improoves all the time. But a while back I definately sussed this out, and probably posted it here, that nightcycle was conceptualized for heating. I'll try and find my notes on this. The current documentation indicates that it should work fine for cooling. However, to avoid unmet hours you want the system to jump on just before it bounds outside the deadband. Has anyone tried zero or negative thermostat tolerances? Otherwise, I would go for smaller timesteps, as small as possible thermostat tolerances, but at the same time increase the tolerance on setpoint not met hours a tad larger than the thermostat tolerance...not 100% App. G legit, I know, but let's get away with it by rounding to .1 decimal place, eg. Thermostat Tolerance=0.45 and setpoint not met tolerance = 0.5...so they're both 0.5 right? Mit freundlichen Grüen- Sent from my iPhone (excuse the brevity) i. A.
