Hi,

"value of heating and cooling for each zone" isn't crystal clear: what do you want exactly? The sizing loads? The heating and cooling energy? at which timestep?

Sizing loads are included in the standard HTML report (AllSummary). For the rest, you can specific "Output:Variable" of your choice.

As a general rule: run the simulation successfully.

Then in the IDF Editor, under "Output:Variable" you will be able to select what variables you want using a dropdown list (you can also read the .rdd file that was generated yourself. The IDF editor just loads the .RDD file in the dropdown for your convenience)

The examples files as well as the E+ I/O reference should help you in case this isn't enough.

Hi all


I have a question and would be thankful if you can answer me :)

I have an apartment with 11 floor, each floor has 5 flat , and I considered every flat as an one zone , so now if I want to find out  how much is the value of heating and cooling for each zone, which parameter should I set in IDF file for the out put results, I also would be appreciated if you can guid me for how to use the out puts in general,would be grateful if you can present or send me some workshop or pdf for analysing the out puts. thank you
