Ah, sorry I am getting into a hhabit of reading only the title and guessing what the question is about… You are really asking about how to send in-simulation control signals rather than design variables. Sounds like BCVTB is what you need. Yi Dr Yi Zhang Energy Simulation Solutions Ltd. We have algorithms ready, its just the way to use our own control values e.g. sending supply temperature set-points or mass flow rates. For example EnergyPlus can control LowtemperatureRadiant systems based on different temperatures e.g. indoor air temperature, MRT, outdoor air temperature etc, We also have to define a throttling range, meaning if the set-point is 15 degrees and throttling range is 2 degrees C then there will be no water flow where the temperature is at or above 16 degree and maximum flow at 14 degrees and so on. My question is can we implement our own control algorithm so that we specify flow rate at a given time step meaning the control algorithm (written in java) will pass/send values of Water flow rate to EnergyPlus rather than E+ controlling based on throttling range?
