[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: tilt overhang





The angle of the Shading:Overhang on the wall is parallel to the top of the window.  The Tilt attribute is used to tilt the outer edge (the edge of the overhang not attached to the wall) up or down; 90° is straight out from the wall.  Less than 90° is up, greater than 90° is down.


If you want to create an overhang that is at an angle on the wall; not parallel to the top of the window, then I think you might need to use the Shading:Zone:Detailed object.
