Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Standard 5-Zone template geometry?
Yes, the 5zone ... example files are what is being referred
to for Module Developers. (Module Developer's Guide?)
The real life models in the example files folder are the ones that start

According to this

, EnergyPlus is tested based on ASHRAE's Project 865, Project 1052 and
Standar 140.
But if I'm not wrong all of these are either analytical tests, or single
Zone tests.
But the documentation says that there is a standard 5-Zone template
geometry that can be used for testing by module developers ... and that
the old 3-Zone model shouldn't be used.
Do you know where I can find some information about this standard 5-Zone
template geometry?
Do you think it could be the geometry of 5ZoneXXXXX.idfs that are in the
Examples folder?
I like like to do some experiments and comparisons, and I would like to
use something standard but at the same time more or less realistic.
