Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Painting External Walls

I think, as Jean has already mentioned, it is more important that you focus on the surface property of particular paints (visible absorbance, emittance, solar absorbance etc.) which may be obtained from manufacturers than on a colour based classification. Often, because of additives or the grain structure, different colour paints may have the same surface properties. Or the same white paint may have very different absorbance.
Once you have these properties, then you may modify surface properties of the outermost material on your wall or roof.

Material,
  stucco25mm,             !- Name
    MediumSmooth,            !- Roughness
    0.025,                   !- Thickness {m}
    0.14,                    !- Conductivity {W/m-K}
    600,                     !- Density {kg/m3}
    2300,                    !- Specific Heat {J/kg-K}
    0.9,                     !- Thermal Absorptance
    0.7,                     !- Solar Absorptance
    0.7;                     !- Visible Absorptance

A comparison of energy consumption.

Some colours have different absortances but, i don't know how to input this in the model.

Thanks

A comparison of what? Energy consumption? Daylighting levels?

Look to the radiation parameters of the outer layer material of your construction. Different paints have different properties for different radiation wavelengths including the visual band. Don't let colour fool you.

Hi!

How you indicate the paintings on the envelope, in the simulation?

I would like to make a comparison using dark and light inks, on external walls?

Thanks
