[EnergyPlus_Support] Trying to control hot water loop return temperatures with PlantEquipmentOperation:ComponentSetpoint [2 Attachments]

Hello everyone,

I need to control the return temperature of a hydronic space heating loop (in order to avoid condensation in high temperature boiler).

The "PlantEquipmentOperation:ComponentSetpoint" seems like the right object to do this.

Using PlantEquipmentOperation:ComponentSetpoint, I put a setpoint on the outlet node of my heating components (baseboard heaters).

However, this does not seem to have any effect, and the temperature of these nodes keeps falling under the setpoint.

I would be very happy to know what you think about this.

Thank you,

Robert
