Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] AirConditioner:VariableRefrigerantFlow: COP in Html report

These equations should be in the Engineering Reference document.

OperatingCoolingCOP = (TotalCoolingCapacity ) / (ElecCoolingPower + CrankCaseHeaterPower + EvapCondPumpElecPower + DefrostPower );
OperatingHeatingCOP = (TotalHeatingCapacity ) / (ElecHeatingPower + CrankCaseHeaterPower + EvapCondPumpElecPower + DefrostPower );
OperatingCOP = ( TUCoolingLoad + TUHeatingLoad ) / TotPower;

I have reported COP occasionally and confess that I don't understand how it gets calculated.
You might report capacity and also power for each timestep, however, and then calculate COP

Hello,

Is there a way to validate COP (w/w) input in "AirConditioner:VariableRefrigerantFlowEnergyPlus object. Though I can find  "HVAC,Average ,VRF Heat Pump Cooling COP []" output variable to check COP number. any suggestions??

Thanks in advance!
