Dear all,
I've attached a single unglazed transpired solar collector to two contiguous zones with the same geometry. The configuration and naming of their inlets, outlets, branches, etc is identical except for the relevant change in zone number ("Zone 1", "Zone 2"). Heating is through a gas coil and cooling through a DX single speed coil.
After simulation, I get the following warning message only for zone 2 nodes:
** Warning ** Node Connection Error for object SOLARCOLLECTOR:UNGLAZEDTRANSPIRED, name=ROOF SOLAR COLLECTOR 01
** ~~~ ** Transpired Collector Air Nodes not on any Branch or Parent Object
** ~~~ ** Inlet Node : HVAC SYSTEM OUTDOOR AIR INLET Z2
** ~~~ ** Outlet Node: UTSC OUTLET NODE Z02
** ~~~ ** This report does not necessarily indicate a problem for a MultiSystem Transpired Collector
************* There was 1 node connection error noted.
Results show that air is flowing from UTSC Outlet Node Z02, and there is a corresponding reduction for heating consumption in Zone 2. There is no warning if Zone 2 uses its own UTSC.
Is this some kind of bug?
Regards and thanks,
Carlos
