I believe the energyplus gov/net site is back in business as far as weather data downloads.
An alternative site is http://climate.onebuilding.org

And you should review the paper:
http://climate.onebuilding.org/papers/1998_06_Crawley_Which_Weather_Data_Should_You_Use_for_Energy_Simulations_of_Commercial_Buildings.pdf

to assure yourself that you are using proper weather data.
