RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Surface node temperature

Hi Oliver,

The layer name of each node is listed in the eplusout.eio output file which is generated in the EnergyPlus folder after the simulation. For example:

The file can be viewed in a text editor.

Nodes are numbered from outside to inside. The number after the node number is the distance from the outer surface.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Surface node temperature

Hi all,

In the surface node temperature output, there are many node temperature for one construction (14 nodes temperatures for a 4 layers roof construction), how can I know which node number represent which construction layer surface? Is there any rule of the node numbering?

Thank you
