[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: porous material
You could look for datasheets that report the results of laboratory tests.
For the heat transfer the physical quantities you have to consider are those ones James wrote. If you are interested also in humidity transfer, you should consider also some other parameters (e.g. vapor permeability) and other objects (e.g. MaterialProperty:HeatAndMoistureTransfer:Settings), but I have never analysed it in EnergyPlus.
