Hi Caroline,
As an example:
Tzoneheatingsetpoint = 18
LowdT=0
HighdT=7
Then,
the window modulation method is able to start opening the window at Toda 18C and open wider and wider linearly until Toda reaches 25 at which point it will be fully open.
It can just as easily open the windows linearly from shut to fully open between Toda 18C and Toda 18.00001C which is like a step,
LowdT=0
HighdT=0.00001
but the function always looks at the difference to Tzone - Toda.
_______
This is not the only way...
If you use the "constant" method instead of "temperature" you could check if you could use the wide variety of availabilitymanager objects available to turn a window on or off (1/0) and this way you don't need EMS.
________
Very similar to the above method... This way with EMS is like programing your own availability manager to change the schedule value.
ÂHi Jean,Â
I am a master student in Brazil. In my work I am simulating a model with 2 rooms and 1 hall that have the mixed-mode system (natural ventilation when is possible - Tsetpoint = 18ºC<T<25ºC, and when the conditions are not favorable the conditioning air is turned on - Tsetpoint >= 25ºC).
The modulation of the window is not good for this type of system (mixed-mode). I was reading this topic, and it seems that it's not so easy cancel the modulation. How is the way you do with schedule minupulation?
Thanks,
Caroline
