Hi,
It's a rather vague question. There are also a ton of example files that come with EnergyPlus (in the EnergyPlus8-4/examples/ folder).
A typical thermostat might be 20C for heating and 26C for cooling.
Look at the example files and of you have more questions ask something more directed please.
