It's pretty obvious but sometimes it feels better just saying it: the most common "error" you'll have while editing idf file in your favorite text editor is a mismatch between comma and semicolon.
Each entry (or line, or cell in idf editor) ends with a comma and the last one ends with a semicolon.

It sounds like you are working exclusively in the IDF editor.  You can open an IDF (it is a text file) in Notepad also.  That is the easiest way to search and replace through the whole file.  You can search for your EMS code section and edit it in Notepad without deleting cell entries you see in the IDF editor.  Just be sure to maintain the format for code you modify.

hi ,

Is there a way I can input EMS from file like notepad or anything similar .

The problem is that every time I need to add lines to my code , I have to delete all cells below and rewrite them below again .
