For the record, Big Ladder is not responsible for sending these notifications. 

While Big Ladder does operate Unmet Hours and feels that it offers many advantages over the Yahoo group, we recognize that it may not be the preferred format for all users seeking EnergyPlus support. We believe both formats are useful and valuable and should coexist. We are not trying to end the Yahoo group or any other mailing list.

We believe the intent of the notification is simply to encourage users to check Unmet Hours for an answer before posting questions to one or both locations.
