ÂThere are most likely several plugins or options for Revit. I've not had the time to check but know that it can export gbxml. If there is no IDF export from Revit then my workflow would be Revit export gbxml, import gbxml into DesignBuilder, then export idf. I'm not sure, but you could even try the trial version of DesignBuilder for this. Apparently, there is even a DesignBuilder plugin for Revit to help in getting a clean gbxml export.

If you mean "*.rvi", that serves a completely different purpose than *.idf, so conversion is not feasible.
All E+ output and input files are text, so any modification or conversion can be accomplished by a text editor or script.
