Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] seasonal heat gain and loss

Hi Jean...
Many thanks for your advice. I get the file and simulated but all the outputs were zero because I didn't add objects, also I haven't added any outputs so far, but I'll check the help guide and see what I need to do complete this simulation
Best regards

You must still add air objects for ventilation and infiltration.

But first just get the file to simulate. Have you added any outputs? I suggest the AllSummary report.

When you install e+ it comes with a file full of examples. The main document for help is the inputoutputreference but the is also a beginners guide and tutorials.

Hi everyone...

I'm a new E+ user and this is my first project in, I want to calculate the seasonal heat gain and loss for housing with 150m2. I finished the modeling stage by using Sketchup program and now I have IDF file, I insert all the information about weather and construction materials and layers but I don't know what I need to add now to complete my simulation and get results about getting the seasonal heat gain and loss for this house.

please if anyone has any idea or example that could be helpful for me I would be grateful.

with regards

Balsam
