Hi Gaurav,
DesignBuilder has some neat tools to allow you to calculate the impact of thermal bridging in EnergyPlus simulations. For “repeat bridging” DesignBuilder provides a tool to help you quickly de-rate the insulation thickness to achieve an equivalent thermal performance (for example you might want to adjust for the effect of metal wall ties or structural components bridging the insulation layer). For linear thermal bridging such as wall corners, wall to floor junctions, window and door openings etc you can input a psi value directly into DesignBuilder and it will make the necessary adjustments in the idf geometry to account for the bridging effect.
