Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Impose Surface face temperature

You could use Other Side Coefficients in the same way that is used with Slab Temperatures.

Hi,

Is there any method to impose surface face temperature or heat flux on a surface, using EMS or any other trick. There is an EMS actuator for surface convection coefficient so maybe any formula which uses only surface face temp and heat flux to find surface convection coefficient.

I tried one way but it didnt worked,

I set thermostat at 30 degrees, (as surface face I had was always below 30). I forced surface convection coefficient as heat flux/diff of face temp and 30 degrees.

Thanks
