I am an undergrad pursuing engineering and new to this simulation engine. I have been asked to input  via programming platforms like C++ because from engineering point of view, we don't require intricate shapes or designs of buildings and hence using GUI very less. Our main purpose is green roof and building energy simulation and research works related to it. I have a time-constraint and therefore it will be very helpful if you can provide me with some reference materials or links or suggested reading articles/books. I have tried a lot but because of lack of experience with the engine, unfortunately i am not able to do it. Please help!
