Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Heat Rejection Meaning

Correctly explained by Julien.
Q_condenser=Q_cooling_duty+W_compressor

So cooling tower is handling the Q_condenser (rejected). But you said "heat that cooling tower rejects to the atmosphere is a lot, so why its value is very small".

Are you sure you get Q_rejected < Q_cooling_duty?

Hi folks,
Does anyone know what heat rejection is? It is said that it is for Cooling Tower, but the amount of heat that cooling tower rejects to the atmosphere is a lot, so why its value is very small in the output of EnergyPlus? what is the difference between heat rejection and cooling loads?

I highly appreciate your response.

Best regards,
Kev
