I would like to  know  (from anyone who has worked with both DesignBuilder and E+), whether I can have the two simultaneously installed in my computer, or do I have to uninstall DesignBuilder before installing stand alone E+

The WeatherConverter that comes with EnergyPlus can convert a weather file to CSV (comma-separated values) format. You can then edit in a spreadsheet. The WeatherConverter can then convert that revised file back to EPW
