I'm also curious.
I would like to use the model of EnergyPlus Generator:MicroCHP. I read in the EnergyPlus I/O guide that "This object is used to model small-scale combined heat and power (micro CHP) electric generators using the model developed by IEA/ECBCSA nnex 42. The model was developed for both internal combustion and Stirling cycle engines, but might be used for other types of residential CHP devices.".Â
I'm wondering whether I cannot use it for non-residential uses.I'm trying to contact the developers of the model (IEA Annex 42).Have you ever used it?Are there other possibilities in EnergyPlus for the model of CHP for non-residential?Best RegardsFrancesco
