I use a script (batch file) to create my location-specific IDFs. I have a base file with everything that stays the same and a location-specific file with design conditions and other info that changes. My batch looks like  Copy Base.idf+Location1.idf Location_Sim.idfOn Wed, Aug 2, 2017 at 12:35 PM, Harshul Singhal harshul263@xxxxxxxxxxx [EnergyPlus_Support] <EnergyPlus_Support@yahoogroups.com > wrote:ÂHi everyone,ÂIs there a way to set up the .idf to use the weather file given to EP without having the objectsÂSite:Location

Do you think if they are accurate to predict the energy usage? If yes, do I need to create 2 parameters: 1. Extreme Summer Weather Period for Design & 2. Extreme Winter Weather Period for Design. Thanks,ÂHarshul SinghalHARSHUL SINGHAL, LEED AP (BD+C)
