It sounds like you want hourly weather files, which generally
contain more fields than just dry-bulb temperature and solar
radiation (GHI and DNI), also dewpoint temperature, pressure, wind
speed and direction, etc. Degree days are by definition tabulated
by day and more frequently by month or just annual totals. When
you say "(recent) weather data for worldwide countries", do you
mean for the latest year (2017) or more, and for a sampling of
locations per country or literally all locations for which there
are data, which in my case would be between 8,000 and 9,000. Please look at http://weather.whiteboxtechnologies.com for more details on the weather files. If you have specific questions, I think it's better handled by private e-mail rather than through posts on a public bulletin board.
