My experience has been that DesignBuilder asks EnergyPlus to output everything including the kitchen sink. It then parses through it all to generate reports. I usually delete most of the DB output in the .idf and select only what I want
to see in the .idf. I think your problem will be if you are used to the DB packaged reports and report format, you will not be getting that from straight EnergyPlus outputs.

Hi,
I want to run multiple simulations in EnergyPlus. In fact, my first goal
was to do it with DesignBuilder software; unfortunately, it is not
accessible in that software. Therefore, I want to export my file from
DesignBuilder to EnergyPlus. Now, I am wondering, if I do that, whether EnergyPlus needs any further modification or not? Does it work with DesignBuilder inputs? I want to designate every lighting schedule and ... in DesignBuilder, and I
also wish to receive every output I have chosen in DesignBuilder, is it
possible?
