timestep will report at the "timestep in hour" frequency. 

system timestep -- you will need to report at "detailed".

but depends on what you are going to do with it.  (If it's a zone variable, then timestep is adequate)

Jean is referring to the structure of the Output:Variables. You want them to reference "timestep" in the last field, e,g.,

  Output:Variable,*,System Node Temperature, timestep;

You mean to divide the results by 6? Because my timesteps are 6 and the results are exported as hourly.
