I don't know what those manufacturers in the EU do for literature, but I know US manufacturers have tables which show performance below 50%. Perhaps you should look for a different chiller / manufacturer and use that curve on your model?

Jean,
It's going to be a curve, not linear, so if you have several capacity points from manufacturer data (at least three?) it seems you could create a curve with those - then extrapolate to lower capacities.
Better, though, is to contact the manufacturer or sales rep and ask for a more complete table of performance.

It's been a while but I'm setting up Chiller Curves again. I've run up against this issue before, but I wanted to ask here:
The Datasheet Performance Data does not always have data at low Part Loads.
My method has been to look at the data and choose points at various Part Loads like (see image below) based around my rating point capacity.
This only gets me so far. Performance points that would mean a below 50% Load coverage don't exist in the data set. How do you guys make up the rest. I think we should have data to at least 25 if not 20 % of rated full load, right?
Any thoughts?
