This said, you also have to consider that what comes from the Wizard is also user input.
It is just not enough to track changes made in the detailed data edit mode to assess the quality of a model.

Just one follow up point - if something is in blue it means it’s a user defined default value and it will not change when you select restore default. You will need to select the edit/view user default option and select "Use DOE2 default"

You  probably know this already - Anything that you see in red/blue
color is the data entered by the modeler. If you right click on it and
say restore default, you will know what the original value is. 
Definitely time consuming, if everything is red/blue.

The easiest way to look for changes is to use a text editor with a "file

compare" function on the .inp file.  (One of the benefits of the model 
data stored in text format.)  UltraEdit is the one I use but I'm sure 
there are lots of others. 

First prize would be something like a wiki which recorded changes an the

user responsible but I have not seen a setup like that.
