Have you referenced the help file that discusses how to do this?  Here’s a
snippet:

 


“Ground-Loop Heat-Exchangers and Fluid Coolers in parallel on WLHP loops


The program can simulate GROUND-LOOP-HXs together with cooling towers.
Often, it may not be economical to size the well field large enough to
handle the peak cooling loads, especially for buildings that are
cooling-dominated. In this case, it may be desirable to install a fluid
cooler in parallel with the well field. A common control strategy would be
to allocate as much of the flow to the well field as can be cooled to the
loop setpoint, and pass the rest of the flow to the fluid cooler. An example
follows.

Note that ground-loop heat-exchangers can be integrated with heat-rejection
devices only; they cannot be satisfactorily integrated with boilers.

The following keywords allow you to coordinate the use of one or more
ground-loop heat-exchangers (GLHX) with one or more heat-rejection
components, such as a fluid cooler. These keywords apply only when the
EQUIP-CTRL:TYPE = HEAT-REJECTION. These keywords apply only to the
heat-rejection mode of a CW or WLHP loop; they cannot be used to control
GLHXs in the heating mode.”

Dear all,

 

Iam trying to model heat rejection system which consists of Geo thermal heat
exchange system (GTHX) with vertical closed loop using series of bore holes
in combination with cooling towers.

So that the condenser water rejects as much heat to the ground first and
remaining heat can be rejected to the cooling towers.

For GTHX energy is consumed to remove heat within a closed loop buried pipe.
Small circulating motor is adequate to remove heat from the condenser water
and energy savings can be obtained using this.

 

Does someone have any idea as to how to combine these two systems in eQuest?

Is there any way by which we can use equipment sequencing to model this?
