[Equest-users] Modeling absorption chiller in eQuest

Hi everyone,

I am performing energy analysis for a University hall of residence using
solar water heaters to provide the hot water requirements both for DHW and
for an absorption chiller system.
>From previous posts on equest-users, I came to understand that solar water
heaters cannot be directly implemented in equest, but the energy saving can
be discounted from the total energy consumption. Is that the correct
approach?

I tried specifying a two-stage absorption chiller as the chiller type in DD
wizard but the simulation is not completed successfully, terminating at
around 18% with 1 error. I would be grateful to receive help related to
modeling the absorption chiller system. Is there any specific parameter(s) I
need to give in the chiller properties dialog which am missing or are the
default values given sufficient to run the simulation.

Thanks,
Kishan
