[Equest-users] Second try - how many DX curves to customize?

Eohini,

I only create custom curves when I need to, like when a new system's
performance isn't remotely like the default system's performance. Using PVVT
to model VRF comes to mind. In that case, I specify every variable I can and
review every default with utmost care.

In the case of DX systems, though, unless you are trying to model some new,
fancy-dancy model, use the existing curves. They would have been updated in
3-64 so they are pretty new and so should reflect the performance of the
current on market equipment pretty well.

Save your custom curves for your complicated stuff. VFD Chillers, etc.

Best.,

Carol
