[Equest-users] How to simulate the building with a sinking atrium?

dear equest-users,
I come across a problem with modelling a building with sinking atrium.
Attached is the profile. the space between the garage and the dining
hall which was orriginally underground space are removed away making a
sinking courtyard. this will affect the envolope thermal exchange,
solar heat gain and ligting of the under grounfd dining  hall area. i
can't figure out an approprite way to solve this problem.
