[Equest-users] Plenum Zone Creation

I believe so. I had one space defined as an atrium, i.e. no plenum, within a shell whose remaining spaces had plenums.

I've known the system-per-zone/other entry to affect this behavior, so is the takeaway here that varying ceiling heights will also cause the wizards to create per-zone plenums?

That worked, thank you.

If you were to remove the 2-story atrium space with the skylights, you might get your single plenum per floor.

I have found this subject discussed on the forums previously. However, eQuest does not seem to be cooperating with me. I am attempting to create one plenum zone per floor. I specified in the dd wizard one HVAC system per floor but it is still creating plenum zones for every space. This is going to be a 250,000 FT^2 building when I am finished with all the shells. I have found in the past that when I get buildings this large, eQuest begins running slow especially with multiple parametric runs. I found that one way to alleviate this problem is to have on plenum zone per floor. Any help would be appreciated. Attached are the .inp and the .pd2 files.

Thank you
