[Equest-users] Export from GBXML

Hi,
I'm working with an eQUEST model that has been generated in Revit and exported as a GBXML back into eQUEST. There are a couple of things that are a little strange about it:
1. Every surface has its own polygon - making the model very large.
2. Child objects don't seem to be able to be based on characteristics of their parent (this is my bigger concern). For instance - if you want a ribbon window to study different glazing percentages by varying the height of the ribbon, it was easy enough to set a default parameter as #P("WIDTH"). You don't seem to be able to do that with these models.
Has anyone else come across this? Is there a workaround? If so - what is it?
Thanks in Advance
