[EnergyPlus_Support] HVAC/Equipment specification, How to Describe?

The description of connections between zone, equipment, system, plant,
etc. nodes, branches, loops seems much more complicated than
DOE-2.1E.

Is there a systematic approach for this?

EnergyPlus HVAC/System/Plant equipment specification is quite
flexible but can be confusing.  We plan on supplying templates to
illustrate the use and suggested connections for several systems types
(V1.0.1 release). This will be a systematic approach for users -- to view
the HVAC templates.

These HVAC templates will provide the ability to specify some basic
systems with roughly the amount of inputs necessary for a BLAST or DOE-2
simulation.  The more complicated node, branch, component, etc.
specification will be standardized with these templates.  This will
provide either a good starting point for learning how to specify HVAC
systems, or can be the specification for HVAC systems.
