[EnergyPlus_Support] Metric vs English

Could someone comment on the difficulty or ease of doing energy analysis
and/or load calculations in metric rather than english units?  As a simple
example, how time consuming is it to translate an english geometry to SI
units?  Does anyone have some sort of "conversion spreadsheet" they would be
willing to share?  I would expect it to get messy, or have others found it
not so difficult or tedious?
